Dedicated to Fitness...

200 leg lifts for the lower abs done on Sunday... 2 days later it still hurts like a mufucka! But the pain makes me feel good... die fat! DIEEEE!!! Mwuahahaha!!! Feel the burn!!!!

I've decided that I want to dedicate my life to fitness! Yes... you heard me. This former couch-potato, beached-whale, anti-gym gal has become a fitness freak! Note: I said fitness... no mention of diet & nutrition here... I still love to eat... mwuahahahaaaa!!! Where's my steak and taters?!?!?! Yummy!

Ever since I started going to the gym bout 7 months ago, I've been hitting the gym 4-6 times a week, religiously! Before this, I was sedentary for about 4 years.... yes, doing absolutely nothing for my health... no walking, no sit-ups, no aerobics, nothing! Before that I was kinda active... back then I was studying in the states... getting my minor degree in dance apart from my major computer shit... so I had 1-2 hrs of dance classes a day... on top of that I had to walk 20 minutes to my classes... Wow! 20 minutes one way... 2-3 classes a day... I was walking like an hour everyday!... then they had bus services, and I got lazy, and then I graduated, and then I bummed around... and that's when it all went downhill...

Until now! Just give me time to get rid of those 4 years on inactivity... just give me time....

So this is what I'm doing now every week ....
  • 4 days of weight training at 4 sets of 15-12 reps each set for each routine
  • 50-minute RPM class (indoor cycling)
  • 1 hour of Latin dance class
  • 1 hour of body sculpting class
  • 1 hour of power stretching class
  • 30 minutes of cardio on the cross-trainer machine
  • 3 sets of 15 reps of abs exercises a day (I tend to not do this ;-p) plus 200 reps on the weekends
  • climb a tough hill whenever I get the chance

So there it is! I'm going to dedicate my life to fitness. I've made a lifestyle change and I'm sticking to it! I'm making this a habit... hell! I've been doing this for the past 7 months, I can keep this up! Who knows... maybe in the near future I might make a change of career to fitness.

I'm gonna be fitter! I'm gonna be trimmer! I'm gonna be a lot stronger! I CAN DO THIS!!!! In the words of my gym buddy.... I'LL SHOCK THE WORLD!!!!
